October is National Bullying Prevention Month
DHS Counselors will present Character Strong curriculum to grades 9-12 during the month of October. Our goal is to promote a safe, respectful, and inclusive campus environment.

October 8, 2025 Angelina College FAFSA workshop, 9-3pm in the DHS library
November 5, 2025 Angelina County College Night at Lufkin High School, 6-7:30pm (all grade levels are welcome)
November 11, 2025: Angelina College Scholarship applications opens.
December 5, 2025: Angelina College finals begin
May 14, 2026: Scholarship Awards Night.
May 22 2026: Graduation
