Students will particpate in an activity with staff to assist them in deciding whether the event is rude, mean or bullying. They will also learn what they should do if they feel they or someone else is being bullied.

October 9, 2024, 8:00-3;00, DHS Government classrooms: Students create their FSA ID for FAFSA (this is a requirement to graduate & parent/guardians must also create an FSAID)

October 27, 2024, 8-3:40, DHS Government classrooms: Angelina College will assist students in applying to their college/university through the Apply Texas platform.
November 7, 2024, 6-7:30, LHS Cafeteria: Angelina County College Night (Over 75 colleges, universities, trade schools & military available to answer your questions)
February 13, 2025, 8-2pm, DHS Library: Angelina College Scholarship & FAFSA Workshop
January 25, 2025, 5:00-7:00pm DHS Tailgate & FAFSA Workshop (all students & parents must have an FSAID prior to this workshop to participate).
March 19, 2025: SAT School Day (students receive an email prior to this event to register)
March 20, 2025: Angelina College Scholarship closes
April 29, 2025: FAFSA Workshop at Angelina College (Both student & parent must have their FSAID’s to participate & parents will meet their student at the college)
May 7, 2025: Angelina College registration (on the AC campus). Students must have an updated shot record to participate (please see the nurse)
May 15, 2025: DHS Scholarship Night, 6pm
May 23, 2025: Graduation 7pm
