Meet Your Librarian

My name is Mrs. Wright, and this is my fourth year at Diboll High School. Before coming to Diboll, I taught French for 13 years, with the last 11 of those years at Nacogdoches High School. I graduated from Southern Methodist University with a BA in Psychology, and I have a Master of Library Science from Sam Houston State University.

I am passionate about reading and literacy, and I look forward to sharing that joy through the Lumberjack Library. My goal is to make the library a welcoming space where all students can feel at home, whether they are working on assignments, reading a book, playing board games, or just relaxing.

When I'm not being a professional book nerd or working on my own homework, I enjoy reading (of course!), wasting time on my iPad, and spending time with my husband and our son. I love to travel and have visited more than 25 countries. I'm also an avid scuba diver, and in a previous life (when I was young and interesting), I worked as a Divemaster in Thailand and Costa Rica. I actually met my husband, who is from England, while diving in Thailand!
