What is Diboll P-TECH?

The Pathways in Technology Early College High Schools (P-TECH) initiative offers an open-enrollment program that creates workforce aligned pathways that lead to high-demand and high-wage fields throughout the state.  Students enrolled in the P-TECH academy are working toward a Level 1 Certification and/or an Associate degree while gaining hands-on work experience.   Texas P-TECH programming is inspired by the national effort to refine career and technical education.  Industry partnerships with P-TECH campuses ensure that students graduate career ready.

Students who graduate from the P-TECH program enter the workforce with proven, in-demand skillsets, making them top candidates in their chosen industry.  Diboll High school will offer P-TECH opportunities in the following area:

Engineering (Advanced Technologies and Manufacturing)

All incoming students and parents, regardless of residential address, meet with school administrators in order to better understand the multiple opportunities and programs available at DISD.  Each year all students and parents are invited to attend a new student orientation and program informational meeting reviewing DISD program opportunities and policies.
