Sheila Stephens named Assistant Principal

It is with great enthusiasm that I join Diboll High School as your assistant principal. I understand the magnitude of my position and will endeavor to empower and inspire our students as well as have a positive impact on our families, staff and community members as we work together to promote learning.

I bring to Diboll 15 years of experience as an educator. The past eleven years have been within educational leadership, most recently at Cleveland where I served as the principal at Eastside Elementary and then as Principal for Cleveland Middle School. Prior to Cleveland I served as an Instructional Specialist and Testing Coordinator for Livingston High School. I also served as the Girls Athletic Coordinator in Corrigan ISD. I started my career in education working at Huntington Middle School as a Teacher/Coach. Having served at every level, I realize that one of the simplest goals is to inspire students to love learning. Having raised 6 sons, I understand that each child is driven by different interests and ideas. I also understand that we as educators are tasked with helping each student find their own motivation to reach those goals.

I am excited about the possibilities that this school year will bring and I am so very proud to be a Diboll Lumberjack.

sincerely,

Sheila Stephens
