October is National Bullying Prevention Month

Every October, schools and organizations across the country join STOMP Out Bullying™ in observing National Bullying Prevention Month. The goal: encourage schools, communities and organizations to work together to stop bullying and cyberbullying and put an end to hatred and racism by increasing awareness of the prevalence and impact of all forms of bullying on all children of all ages.
Planned Activities:
Dating Violence - Grade 9 (October 2nd & 3rd)
It's Called Rape - Grade 10 (October 15th & 16th)
Jostens Bullying - Grade 11(October 9th & 10th)
Jostens Digital Citizenship - Grade 12(October 23rd & 24th)

Unity Day - Oct. 23, 2019

Wear and share orange to show that we are together against bullying and UNITED for kindness, acceptance and inclusion.

Unite visually! - Wear ORANGE;t-shirt, sunglasses, jewerly, or make your own orange item.

Unite virtually! - Share ORANGE; color our online world in orange, tag with #UnityDay2019

Angelina College fall classes will start on August 26, 2019

Most classes will be held on campus for the 2019-2020 school year. For classes not held on the campus, DHS will continue to provide transportation. Senior students are allowed to drive to and from AC with a signed note from their parent or guardian (prior to the first class day). Underclassmen (grades 10 & 11) are not permitted to drive unless special permission is granted by Mr. Clements, Principal. Policy also prohibits students riding with one another.
